Scorpio Astrology
Scorpio is the eighth astrological sign in the Zodiac, originating from the constellation of Scorpius. In western astrology, the sign is no longer aligned with the constellation as a result of the precession of the equinoxes. Scorpio is considered a water sign, and is one of four fixed signs. Like the rest of the watery signs, Scorpio is considered a "negative", feminine sign, which in Astrology means it is rather introvert.
Individuals born when the Sun was in this sign are considered Scorpio individuals. Under the tropical zodiac, the Sun enters Scorpio around October 23-24 and exits around November 21-22. Under the sidereal zodiac, it is currently there roughly from November 16 through December 15. People born on these juncture dates should have an astrological chart drawn to determine which sign the sun was in at the exact time of their birth.

Astrolo-Chi® - T'ai Chi for the 12 Signs of the ZodiacReviewsI found the video very user-friendly; the menu in the latest version allows me to see whatever I want to focus on daily. The narration and description of movements make the video very easy to follow. Seeing the yin/yang movements (Aries/Libra, Taurus/Scorpio, Gemini/Sagittarius, Cancer/Capricorn, Leo/Aquarius, Virgo/Pisces) on screen while narrated by Jeff makes the concept easy to follow. This experience of astrology gave me a new understanding of how the opposite movements can relate to how a person can be in or out of balance. This video truly broadened my understanding of astrology. Astrolo-Chi: T'ai Chi for the 12 Signs of the Zodiac is a fantastic way to learn how to bring astrology alive on all levels- mind,body,and spirit. The descriptions of the energies associated with the signs of the zodiac are very insightful and the gentle movements to awaken these are clearly demonstrated. The only draw back to the video is a lack of menu on the DVD. That would have been helpful to access the AM and PM Routines. I found the book Astrolo-Chi to be a great companion piece. The book is a beautiful and interesting look at the development of this exciting new form of T'ai Chi. It's been life transforming for me. Average Rating: |

The Astrology Workout (Scorpio)ReviewsMy father has gained substantial weight in the last decade or so, and is quite out of shape. I wanted him to enjoy more freedom to play with my son, and better overall health. I HAVE NEVER BEEN AN ASTROLOGY PERSON, but this video (introduced to me by a client) was so gently encouraging and non-judgmental, it seemed just right for my somewhat cantankerous dad. Well, HE LOVES IT. He is losing weight at a safe and reasonable pace, and has more energy than he has in a long time. He is unlikely to become George Clooney or Brad Pitt at 69, but he looks and feels better and can now play more of the games an eight year old grandson pleads for. Total SUCCESS! Average Rating: |

Being a water sign, Scorpio is considered highly passionate, imaginative, determined, persevering, inflexible and self-confident.
Traditionally, the planet Mars has been considered to be the ruler of Scorpio, and since its discovery, Pluto has been considered a modern ruler of this sign. Some modern astrologers consider Pluto to be a more appropriate ruler over the sign, citing the reason for Mars having initially ruled the sign being that Pluto had not yet been discovered. In 2006 Pluto was reclassified by astronomers as a "dwarf planet", and therefore is no longer considered a planet in astronomy, although this has not reduced its significance to astrologers as the modern ruler of Scorpio.
As the eighth sign in the zodiac, Scorpio is associated with the astrological house number 8, which is associated with natural Scorpio matters - birth, death, transformati, deeply committed relationships of all kinds, and the occult and psychic matters.
