I bought this as more of an art piece..looks great displayed. It comes with a small booklet that gives a brief introduction to palmistry. I am very pleased with this product!

Sculpted in a manner that conjures images of readings in old French Salons, or a hidden gypsy caravan, this Palmistry Hand is a true delight. 5" long and 3 " wide, it is small enough to comfortably sit upon your desk or altar...

Much of this DVD is delivered in a thick British (Australian?) accent by the male speaker. The woman is clearer, at least for us non-Brits. The planning and content of the spoken material also seems haphazard and poorly thought out. For a better Tarot DVD, get "Rider-Waite: Learning to Read the Tarot Intuitively."

When I bought this video I had hoped to learn the basics of palmistry through actual readings on tape. It turned out that the sound is quite badly done, and the British accents of the participants are (for me at least) impossible to decipher. Over and over I have tried to glean whatever information I could from this video and each time the sound, the accents and the quality of the videography prevent my doing so. The information given is not organized either. I consider it a waste of my hard earned money.

Palm Reading for Beginners: Find Your Future in the Palm of Your Hand (For Beginners (Llewellyn's)) Palm Reading for Beginners: Find Your Future in the Palm of Your Hand (For Beginners (Llewellyn's))

A great place to start. I have no background in the subject, but was looking for more information. I'm glad to have found this book. It seems like it was researched well enough with references on top of personal experience. Thoroughly enjoyed this book and I think I learned a lot from it. Certainly makes me want to learn more.

This is a good book for people who have previous knowledge palm reading. There should have been more pictures of the palm and the drawing should have been labled. Some times I had to guess what areas of the palm the book was referring to because there wasn't enough pictures.

I am very happy with this book. I learned alot from it and have loads of fun with what I've learned. I would deffinately recommend.

Liked this book a lot, able to understand clearly what the author was trying to share with me. Great!

I have no background to palm reading and was looking for something to give me a background. This one has gaps in some fundamental definitions of understanding the concepts of palm reading. Not one I'd recommend.

Palm Reading: A Little Guide To Life's Secrets (Miniature Edition) Palm Reading: A Little Guide To Life's Secrets (Miniature Edition)

This is a cute little book that gives only a very small overview on palm reading. It is quite smaller that I expected but I did enjoy reading it.

I was a bit dissapointed when I received this item. When it says minature edition, it really is minature! It's about the size of your palm. But when I started reading the contents, it made up for its minature size. The contents were straight forward and simple to understand. Great for beginners as it gives you enough information to palm read and amaze anyone! If you want more details, you may have to get another book though. In retrospect, its small size makes it very handy. I now carry it around in my pocket for instant palm readings!

This book on palm reading is an excellent little bargain. It is small enough to fit in your pocket and teaches just the right basics. Much cheaper than what you pay for a professional palm reading. Works great for a conversational opener regarding romantic interests too. Trust me. *wink*

It is important to realize that this is not for people who want to learn palm reading. It is a novelty 1x1.5 inch book.

It's a REALLY small book and covers most lines, but not all the info I was hoping for...cute to carry around as a quick guide though

I loved this book. I've ploughed through so many palmistry books and they're such hard work - an endless list of stars and squiggles and mounts and stuff to remember. This one is radically different. It gets you straight to the actual art of reading hands with totally new labels for everything based on the language of psychology. It really works. I gave my girlfriends brother a reading after working through this book and it totally blew him away! I'd recommend this to anyone interested in palmistry.

It doesn't matter whether you are a beginner, a curios, a PUA or professional. This book gives an excellent idea of what palm reading is all about. The most important aspect of this book is it's no-nonsense approach, avoiding the Victorian mysticism and mumbo-jumbo nonsense that has plagued this topic for the last few hundred years, leaving you with a purified extract of what it all means. As such, I enjoyed every chapter and every minute with this book and it was directly applicable. As a scientist also in genetics and inherited traits, this book help open new paths to a still quite uncharted territory, at least scientifically. The only downside are some grammatical errors and some erroneous/confusing titles/captions on some of the included photos. An updated edition, with improved quality photos would work wonders. Some more references could also prove useful.

If you've read other books or studied hand analysis it might be a bit confusing for you trying to put something different in your head after learning another way. Not bad, just confusing. Renaming the fingers made sense as the old name are just that, old. And a bit too woo woo for many. I've seen eyes glaze over when the old names were used. A different way to look at things in a refreshing manner.

I did enjoy this book. He gives a common sense method to reading hands and helps you break it down into ez to digest bites. He renames the fingers (does not use the traditional Jupiter, Saturn etc.), which takes about three minutes to get used to. I could see why he did it. He does give good advice on how to tell if fingers are really longer etc. Use this book with Richard Unger and Ronelle Coburn's books and you will be well on your way!

I got this book a week ago and I must say - this is a very good book. This book is a little bit different than other palmistry books and I am very happy - so happy that I cannot stop reading it all. THe book does not lay emphasis on mounts and shapes of the hands - which was confusing to me in the first place. It looks at palmistry at a modern level - simple enough to understand. The chapters are named as Hour One to Hour 24. There are easy to understand terminologies for fingers - instead of Jupiter its 'mirror' finger and so on. Very interesting book. This is my first read of Johnny Fincham and I am already a huge fan of him. However, this book has not been proofread properly. There are grammatical mistakes that are very obvious - spelling and notation. In some places, when they show two hands (pictures) - and ask us a question - the answer points at the wrong picture. (Naomi and Amber's question on Pg 107-108)
