This video is broken down into two 45 minute segments: 1)The Magicians and 2)The Scientists. It is well done and discusses the links between science and the occult throughout history. Comparisons are made in astronomy, alchemy, science, and tarot, along with all the metaphysical from ancient Egypt to today. Anyone interested in any of the metaphysical subjects will enjoy this video as it gives a great overview of how historical figures such as Galileo, Einstein, Newton, and Jung are intertwined with the subjects that are considered to be Occult. Is Dec 20, 2012 the end of the world, or the beginning of a new age? I highly recommend this thought provoking look at the Mayan culture's obsession with time - but not at these prices. You can buy this DVD new for $24.95 from the History Channel where it originally aired.

Totally engrossing, "The Secret of Pythagoras" is a wonderful DVD, making simple what has long been complicated. It is fun and engaging, and should be a "must see" for anyone interested in mathematics and its historical origins. Great job, Mr. Nagy. Escaping Innocence: A Story Of Awakening As The Twig Is Bent

This DVD is basically a Power Point presentation in which the creator speaks about Pythagoras. It is not interesting at all! I am a math teacher and I bought this to show my students, but instead I'll be tossing it in the trash! It's not worth $1!

Back in the mid 1990's I wrote "Fortune Teller For Windows", which was published by FormGen. I retained copyright ownership of the software, and registered it with the U .S. Copyright Office. When FormGen went out of business, production of the this software should have stopped. Yet here it is, published by Wizardworks, using the same cover art, the same product descriptions - clearly the same product. According to the description, they started selling this on Amazon in November of 2004. They didn't contact me about it! As of the date this reveiw is being posted (December 2005) the description says the product is not available. Good - it shouldn't be, without my permission.

This book attracts anyone interested in the stars. People like reading about themselves, so it's a fun coffee table book to leave lying around as it invariably gets picked up and perused. Value for money too.

I bought this book for my mother about 3 years ago and she LOVES it! She brings it out all the time. It's fun to look up your family and friends' birthdays, as well as the potential birthday of your unborn children, something my sister did just this past weekend. I would definitely recommend this book! :)

I already own this book, for many years now, and decided to obtain one for my nephew, as once he borrowed it, it was difficult to get it back. He will enjoy having his own copy. Don't know how they do this, but find this is one of the best books. Bought a similar one as well, that includes numerology, etc., that was rated better than this, but I personnally disagree, and am dissappointed in the other. This is by far the better one. Entertaining and informational!

Each birthday gets two pages of trivia such as who was born on this day, a personality evaluation, numbers & planets, tarot, health, advice, meditation, and more. Just imagine being born on 20 April. Adolf Hitler. The book is too old to remember the Columbine shootings. There are a few other sections in the book that cover periods in the zodiac cycle. Nice superficial book that may give you some conversation for a day or two. This also makes a good coffee-table book. Soon though even your visitors will get bored with the book. If you like this book you will love "You Were Born on a Rotten Day" by Jim Critchfield. You were born on a rotten day

This is a solid, well-written, well-designed book on a subject of great interest to me. Personally I've read the book and introduction thoroughly and benefitted; with friends we have laughed and compared our personalities with the characteristics befitting us according to this text.

Everyone in my family has a copy now. I sent this to my college daughter so she could use it on her friends and remember hers. Mine is a dogeared hard cover with tape on the bindings and the back pages have a family tree of our numbers along with a list of friends and their numbers! A great tool for self awareness...I use it in my practice and school for a tool to help people look at each other more objectively rather than being punitive with one another.

Dan Millman hit the nail on the head with the info in this book. Although, be careful when purchasing this book as the one now shown on Amazon is an older copy. Apparently Amazon doesn't have the updated edition so the info only goes to the beginning of 2000. When asked about the children coming in after 2000 Dan stated the update was in the newer version. I was disappointed to find the picture misprint when I placed my original order but I am pleased to see Amazon corrected the error. Friends who checked out my copy are ordering their own copy. When working with Dan's system, we found the info presented a very accurate picture of the person with that set of numbers. Remember though, this is only a guide and not a tool to box someone into their birth date numbers.

Very interesting book based on Numerology and the personality traits shared by people with your "numbers". It makes you aware of the path you need to follow and gives light to the flaws of your personaligy, and how to improve your circumstance. This goes weel beyond anything on Numerology that I have read!

It has worked for everyone I've ever done it for, even the biggest of skeptics. Great food for thought--and hey, if it makes us think about why we do things and the direction we want to go, all the better. Millman is insightful and keeps it simple, while having a complexity that many others in his field don't seem to poses. Well worth the time and money.

This book was utilized in a class that I attended, thus I was aware of the book's content before I purchased. I like the information and the style. The book addresses who we are at our core based on numerology. It discusses personality traits, positive qualities and inherent challenges. It is a book I will refer over and over.
